Topaz

The Topaz is a shielded speaker that can be built as a full range, vented tower or as a sealed, bookshelf monitor suitable for standalone or home theater use. It has a very warm midrange and exceptional air and detail. This design uses a solidly built clearance woofer, (I have several in stock) and a readily available tweeter.

The tower version has solid bass down to about 50 Hz, the sealed version does about 90 Hz (see my design section) I also have a center channel version for home theater use. This design is a quite versatile and durable speaker.

Onyx

The Onyx is a compact shielded monitor suitable for standalone use or as part of a home theater system. It is a vented system featuring higher than average sensitivity and exceptionally smooth and neutral presentation. It's capable of producing bass down to about 70 hz.

It's major limitation is power handling. Not a great design for head-banging bass heads. It won't produce ear-splitting volumes, but most folks over the age of 25 won't find it lacking. Good choice for smaller rooms. The tweeter is a clearance item no longer available but I have a few in stock. [$85 each ]

SV-10 Subwoofer

This little beast is true marvel. It features a massive excursion 10" driver, 250 watt amplifier and in room response down to 20 hz. All of this in a box thats 16" H x 13" D X 13" wide.

The driver fires down toward the floor, so it's easy to locate and pet safe. It's a sealed design and fairly bullet proof. Easy to match up with other speakers. Alas, the driver is no longer available to the public. I have three of these drivers in stock. [$400]
